Megapixel Explained: From Sensor to Screen
A megapixel is one million pixels on a sensor. This diagram shows a 24MP sensor with 24 million photodiodes capturing light. Each photodiode becomes a pixel, forming a high-resolution image. More megapixels yield finer details and larger, sharper prints overall.
